A hybrid cloud for Space Station
Space station is a family-owned self-storage company based in the Greater London area, with facilities across London and Birmingham.
Like most organisations they have key business applications that enable their business. Space Manager by Radical, for example, is the gel of their business.
The challenge
As a growing organisation, they required a platform that will enable them to operate seamlessly and with confidence. Their technology needed to support their expanding business, the cloud sounded good but they wanted to remain in full control.
What we did
We successfully implemented a hybrid cloud, with full two-way disaster recovery. Space Stations’ key application, Space Manager, now resides within 3verest synchronised file services and has provided a technology stack that is totally scalable. Security has also been increased with the implementation of two-factor authentication.
The Results
Backups are automated and fully monitored. Licensing and costing is clear and scalable per user. All branches and sites are served by a compliat uniform system making training new staff a breeze. Unrivalled uptime so IT staff can now focus on supporting internal staff, rather than tinkering with servers.
